about david hults

What do driving a semi, raising chickens, and running a marathon have in common?
When you are at a turning point in your work life -- seeking a job, or wanting to radically change your career direction -- it can be helpful to look back at where you have been, where you have enjoyed success, in any area of your life, and then to identify the key skills you used to help you win the goals you found most satisfying.

The successes may not -- probably will not -- all be work-related.  Many of your most enjoyed achievements may have nothing to do with the way you earn your living.  But identifying the things you did that brought success each time you used them can help you find a new and more satisfying way to earn your living now or in the future.

One of my success factors is:

Defining action steps, or processes, to meet short-term goals
that drive long-term success.

Click on successes to read about how I accomplished this with three individuals who now have results they deserve because of developing action steps and how to position themselves within the market.

Whether a personal goal such as running a marathon, or meeting a business need to coordinate all materials for five simultaneous seminars, success on my part has involved each of my success factors. I use these factors now, with every client.

...you will find yourself with a growing confidence in your own abilities.
— David

I can help you analyze your successes to identify key factors that you use each time to achieve your goals, whether or not you are aware of using them. Together, you and I will take this information and use it to help you plan, and take, the next steps in changing your work life. My commitment is to help you find and win the perfect career, at the salary you deserve.

The process we will follow includes a methodical look at your history of successes, focusing on the positive in each, analyzing how you worked with them, and what mattered to you in each experience. You will have work to do for each session. As we review the results each time, you will find yourself with a new appreciation for your history, and a growing confidence in your own abilities.

When you are ready to search for the new position, I will help you structure your resume, prepare for interviews, and practice negotiating your salary. If you are as committed to your success as I am, this process will have great results for both of us.
